A little about Bob Stader and the
NJSSA Bob Stader Lifetime Achievement Award

“The janitorial/sanitary supply industry is fortunate to include many leaders who exemplify what Bob Stader stood for in our industry,” stated Hank Josephs, President of Spruce Industries in Garwood and (past) President of the NJSSA Board.

Bob Stader was a respected member of the janitorial/sanitary industry for over 35 years.  Bob began his business career with 3M Corporation and then worked in sales for  Rubbermaid Commercial Products.  He became president of I. Edward Brown Company, the oldest janitorial/sanitary supply distributor in the country.  Bob opened his own manufacturer’s representative firm, Robert Stader Associates, in 1975.  He represented, among others, such firms as Market Forge, Cambro, Homer Lauchlin, Microtron, and Milwaukee Brush.  Bob died in 2000 and is survived by his wife Ann who lives in Middletown, NJ, and his son Robert and daughter Elizabeth.
